The ERAVISTA Muro Retrofit Muro Retrofit
The ERAVISTA Muro Retrofit is a carefully designed, fabric-first solution for upgrading windows and walls in traditional and historic buildings. It addresses not only the window itself, but the surrounding wall construction, delivering a comprehensive solution that enhances comfort, energy performance, and long-term benefits, all while preserving architectural character.
Unlike a standard window replacement, the Muro Retrofit replaces non-compatible interventions such as uPVC windows, gypsum plaster, and cement-based renders, with breathable, high-performance alternatives. A new ERAVISTA box sash window is installed alongside natural wood fibre insulation and lime-based internal finishes that work in harmony with solid wall constructions.
Every detail is considered, from thermal improvement and moisture control to interior finishing and period detailing. We manage the entire process, including plastering, reintegrating period features, and final decoration, for a fully integrated result.
